A Little of the Book Life

Obviously I love books. I'm here, aren't I? :)

Surviving the Angel of Death: The Story of a Mengele Twin in Auschwitz - Eva Mozes Kor, Lisa Rojany Buccieri Wow. I'm not even sure what else to say at this point. I just finished this and I am so overcome with emotion. (Not trying to get too sappy or anything here.) I am amazed at the capacity this woman has for forgiveness. I continue to be be appalled at the actions of the Nazi's during the Holocaust. This was the first time I read an actual account of the testing on twins. The fact that she endured all that pain and it was basically her love for her sister, her sheer will to live, that brought her through and allowed her to survive and share her story with the world, with us.
